The second focal length used was 50mm. This would usually give a more 'normal' view of the subject as seen with the eyes but in this case, when combined with the cropped sensor it is the equivalent to a focal length of 80mm which compressed the features slightly.
The third image was taken with a focal length of 70mm, also on a cropped sensor making it the equivalent to to 112mm. This further compresses the features and narrows the perspective making a flatter image. It is however still an acceptable image.
